Uploading Images and Processing with RMagick

I recently spent a day working with images on one of our team web apps for the Flatiron School. After going down many rabbit holes, I found out that processing images can be incredibly easy within the app with the right instructions.

First step is figuring out what images you will be working with. Things are relatively easy when working with images that you upload to the app yourself. This way you can control the pixel size, the ratio, and the format.

To debug a program or device is to start with a problem, isolate the source of the problem, and then fix it. A user of a program that does not know how to fix the problem may learn enough about the problem to be able to avoid it until it is permanently fixed. When someone says they’ve debugged a program or “worked the bugs out” of a program, they imply that they fixed it so that the bugs no longer exist.
